Bring the birds from your garden indoors with this A4 wall calendar for 2027, featuring delicate watercolour artwork handpainted by Wilma-Louise.

Pre-order now: calendars will be shipped in the first week of December 2026, in good time for the new year and for Christmas gifting.

Each month opens with a full-page painting of a much-loved South African garden visitor, including the Hadeda, Ring-necked Parakeet, Cape Sparrow, Crested Barbet, Hoopoe, White-bellied Sunbird and Grey Loerie. Every bird is paired with a Bible verse, a gentle reminder to pause and look up at the start of each month.

The dates sit on a separate page, so the artwork has room to stand on its own. Public holidays are marked, and the week runs from Monday to Sunday, making it easy to plan your days in the kitchen, home office or hallway.

A note from the artist

This calendar was painted by me, inspired by all the interesting birds that visit my garden. From the songs of the Cape Sparrows early in the morning to the sound of the Ring-necked Parakeets in the late afternoon. From Frikkie the Hadeda, announcing himself in a voice that’s permanently stuck mid-crack, to the yellow finches building nest after nest until the lady is happy. From the White-bellied Sunbird stealing the blueberries to the joy they all bring, it is endless.
